An Early Take at Wisconsin Exit Polls

For what they're worth, here's an early look from CNN exit polls after what appears to be wins by Senators McCain and Obama. Time permitting I'll make an an extended examination later in the week.

Brings up a thought. At the beginning of every presidential campaign season, pundits make hay about how long it's been since a U.S. Senator was elected president. Now, it's essentially guaranteed we'll get a senator for president, but no one is talking about it. Here's the rundown:

Bush: Governor
Clinton: Governor
Bush: VP
Reagan: Former Governor
Carter: Governor
Ford: VP/House
Nixon: Former VP
LBJ: VP
Kennedy: Sitting U.S. Senator

Note: Please correct me if I'm wrong.
